Strictly Come Dancing’s Erin Boag’s facial transformation

Erin Boag transformationWatching Saturday’s new series of Strictly Come Dancing, our eyes were drawn to only one thing.

No, not the awfulness of Gary Rhodes’ cha-cha, nor Ola Jordan’s ridiculously unflattering catsuit, but the amazing transformation of professional New Zealand dancer, Erin Boag.

It’s not that she was unattractive before, but she’s now gone totally Hollywood. Aside from the hair colour change, from severe black to a softer golden brown, she has clearly had some other serious work done.

We sat on the sofa and spent ages trying to work out exactly what she’d had done. Definitely veneers, which has completely changed her smile. On top of that, it looks as if she’s had a touch of Botox and possibly some fillers.

It’s pretty impressive and she looks amazing – far younger, far more confident and far more glitzy.

If that wasn’t enough, we were also convinced that Tess Daly has had her boobs reduced, but that’s not quite as obvious!

Cracking opener to the series and, although I’d have loved to see Gary Rhodes go, his dancing will keep us entertained for a couple more weeks yet!

Why BT and Peter Jones don’t fit

BT (otherwise known as British Telecommunications) decided that Dragon’s Den entrepreneur and millionaire Peter Jones was a genius fit when they replaced Gordon Ramsay with him in their current Gremlins ad campaign.

The idea, of course, is that if Jones used BT, he’d never have a problem with his IT ever again.

All well and good, but Jones is a multi-miilionaire who flies around in private jets and helicopters. He’s not going to call up a helpline himself – he’d have a flunkey to do it for him.

Equally, I can’t believe he sits an office such as the one above, allowing someone to say “Don’t work too late,” to him as they leave.

As much as he tries to pretend otherwise, Peter Jones is a social tier and financial class above the average business user. Sorry, BT, own goal!

Wiggles go retro

Since having a child, you end up discovering new ‘worlds’ you’d never ever encounter otherwise. Thus it is, I could go on Mastermind with my specialist subject as The Wiggles.

The group from Australia who all wear different-coloured shirts and sing songs aimed at kids have become a global smash, although they have not quite done as well in the UK.

The great thing about coming from Australia is that it’s a small world in the world of entertainment. They’ve worked with the likes of Rolf Harris, Tim Finn and more recently Leo Sayer, who emigrated there many years ago.

Yes, the man behind 70s smash hits such as When I Need You, Orchard Road and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing has made a beeline for the kids market.

And it’s not only Leo who’s started working with The Wiggles. They’ve also employed the services of a kids Tv legend in the form of Don Spencer.

Spencer is an Australian kids TV legend and also, you may recall, was a long-running presenter on kids TV show Play School during its heyday in the 1970s.

All they need now is to get John Farnham and Mental As Anything involved and they’ve done the whole lot!

[Proof of Leo Sayer’s involvement]
